Washington, D.C. — Oct. 30, 2019 — The organizers of a new online event hope to send a message to female creatives: It is possible to ditch your day job and achieve financial independence as a creative entrepreneur.
This is the theme of a new virtual retreat being offered free to female entrepreneurs and creatives in November. The Take Back Control Retreat will feature more than 40 expert presenters on topics designed to help creative hobbyists launch and grow their own businesses and achieve obtain time, location and financial freedom by addressing their toughest issues.
The retreat will take place Monday, Nov. 18 to Thursday, Nov. 21; sessions will be available for 24 hours afterward to accommodate attendees’ busy schedules.
The event was organized by Tarsha McCrae, a budding serial entrepreneur and founder of The Creative Huddle, an organization that helps women creatives establish systems, get more clients and avoid burnout.
